Reviews and Ratings
I had an amazing stay at Intercontinental Edinburgh The George. The hotel combines historic elegance with modern comforts. While some aspects like the breakfast selection could use a little enhancement, the really good staff and location more than made up for it.
I had a pleasant stay at Intercontinental Edinburgh The George, enjoying its central location and warm service. The hotel’s breakfast was particularly impressive, offering a good variety of options. However, my Premium King City View room had its drawbacks, mainly the small bathroom and the presence of interconnecting doors that compromised my privacy and peace. Overall, it's a good option if you're aware of these considerations.
My recent stay at The George in Edinburgh was quite nice, with a beautiful location near many attractions. yet I did face some challenges, particularly with the dining experience. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making me feel valued throughout my time there. However, the breakfast service fell short, with delays and food quality that did not meet my expectations.
I had a lovely stay at InterContinental Edinburgh The George, but there were a couple of hiccups. The historic façade and lobby are stunning, and the staff, especially Tomas and Nathan, went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. However, my initial room was in need of refurbishment, with some worn furnishings. Once I was moved to a larger room, I enjoyed a more comfortable experience. albeit with some heating issues during a chilly January night.
My stay at Intercontinental Edinburgh The George had some great moments, but it was also marred by several disappointments. The location is fantastic, allowing easy access to the sights of Edinburgh, and I appreciated the particularly warm service from the staff. However, I encountered issues with the food quality and my initial room, which left a lot to be desired. Overall, while there were some highlights, the experience did not fully meet my expectations.
